Wall street, big tech, and even international non-profits- My career has had a diverse array of industries, roles, and skills. I'm grateful for what each of these experiences has taught me, and now it's time to use these lessons to create and build.

I'm presently the Business Development Manager at Good Tree Capital, an up-and-coming financial technology startup. We are working towards fair access to capital for all, beginning with bolstering social equity in Illinois' cannabis industry. On the side, I work on my own tech-driven entrepreneurial endeavors, as well as developmental consulting for small businesses, personal brands, creative projects, and social justice initiatives.

My long term goals? Create spaces for BIPOC communities to thrive. Physical, safe, inclusive spaces where we can gather. Digital, tech-enabled spaces where we can control the content we share and receive. Creative spaces where we can create our own canon of art, celebrating, critiquing, affirming, and developing one another's forms of expression.

Professional Experiences
Business Development Manager
Grateful to be working for a company I believe in,
from the mission to the leadership.
Autonomy, responsibility,
and room for creativity,
or as we call it,
creative destruction.
I report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer for everything branding and marketing.
& report directly to the CEO for business development and strategy.
Fair access to capital for all,
equity in the cannabis industry,
and a future without bias-
We’re making it happen.
Sustainable Student Impact Analyst
My time with the Beeck Center began
with me on a plane flying across the world.
I was headed to Southern rural India
to work for the Mann Deshi Foundation,
an organization that supported female entrepreneurs
& rural farmers
impacted by a devastating drought in the region.
My experience pushed me to come back to the states
and work to make this program stronger,
more robust,
and more impactful.
So the Beeck Center hired me to restructure it.
Global Marketing Solutions Intern
Facebook was like...
a professional development summer camp.
Presenting expertise,
communication strengths,
data analytics abilities,
and technical solution creation-
My skillsets were really cultivated during my time at Facebook's Austin, TX office.

All of the interns were students of color
from top universities around the country.
The technical smarts required for the role mixed with the quirky and unique personalities Facebook scouted
created a vibrant community
of the most outgoing scholars
I have ever met-
and there is no doubt
that this Facebook University intern class
is going to change the world.
Institutional Equity Sales & Trading Analyst
I started my professional career
with the world's top salespeople and traders.
Those who impacted the country's entire economy
by the touch of a button
or a few words of advice on the phone.
Every morning,
I was walking into the doors of JP Morgan Chase,
swiping my entry card and beginning work at 5:45am
at the latest.
And leaving to my NYU apartment by 8pm
at the earliest.
While this lifestyle and environment was certainly not for me,
this opportunity taught me so much about myself,
about what I absolutely needed
and what I would never tolerate,
about who I am and what I was capable of.
While the finance life wasn't for me,
it opened up so many doors
and got me to where I am today.
